Dr. Vargas Bustamante's talk is titled "COVID-19: Disproportionate Impact Among Latinos and Immigrants." This presentation provides an overview of the toll that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on Latinos in California and the immigrant population, particularly those who are undocumented. Using different measures such as number of cases, mortality and hospitalizations from COVID-19 the presentation concludes with policy responses that should be prioritized as we move from the pandemic stage of COVID-19 to its endemic stage.
