Kickboxing is a form of martial arts that uses hands, elbows, knees and feet to strike the opponent. There are dozens of different styles across the world, originating from; Thailand, Holland, America, China, France and more! Kickboxing is a great way to increase your cardio-respiratory endurance, coordination and focus! It's also a great way to relieve stress and find a new community on campus! Check out what styles we have to offer this quarter! Savate is known as a kickboxing fighting art using shoes and gloves. It is practiced throughout the world by women, men, and children. It is closer striking variant of La Canne de Combat, also known as Boxe Francaise which uses hand techniques purely from English boxing mixed with kicking techniques using both feet protected by shoes striking with the legs fully extended.
