On January 17, 2018, SupChina, in collaboration with The China Institute held the conference 'NEXT CHINA: How the Middle Kingdom Will Reshape Your World' in New York. The conference consisted of five forums, each touching on key topics such as Technology, Economy, Healthcare, Politics and Philanthropy.
Focusing on recent trends in China's transformation from a low-cost manufacturing powerhouse to a an increasingly innovative and high-tech world player, the conference explored China's latest developments in terms of EV tech, AI, healthcare, investment opportunities and the economic outlook for 2018.
In the field of philanthropy, John Long - CEO, Highridge Partners and Executive Committee member of GCPI had the opportunity to present the GCPI project to the over 400 attendees and expert fellow speakers as well as take part in a panel discussion on the topic of philanthropy. Vivian Long, Director of the Long Family Foundation and GCPI partner, meanwhile, elaborated on the future of philanthropy with regards to next generation Chinese and overseas Chinese.
